Careers List

In M3 W1 every year, your Y3 students will undertake a placement test, which determines whether they will succeed in their chosen career path or not. Careers become available as students use facilties. Higher int students have a greater chance of unlocking new career paths when they use facilities. On the first page of the student window, you can see their career path at bottom, as well as their chance of success. Not all careers are related to the grades of a student, and even students with a 500 grade average can have only an 86% chance of succeeding in their chosen career.

Some students may not have a chosen career path when the tiem comes for the placement test. In these cases, the student will graduate as a Part – Timer, which is the worst available job to any student. To counteract this, an item called a Career Book is available to let you choose a career path for these students before the placement test. More information on the Career Book will be given in the Items section.

There are two reasons for choosing specific careers for your students to graduate as. Firstly, after the results of the placement test are released, your school will receive 3% of the total income of all of your graduating students as a bonus. Thus, having a student graduate in Int Design, which is a $200K job, will result in a $6K bonus for just that one student. This bonus can add up very quickly, especially when you get to later years and have several classes of graduating students. The second reason is that by having students graduate in specific jobs, special facilities can be unlocked for research [Thanks to Tyler for establishing this fact].

Popular Spot and Places

Most complete on the web! Recently updated!

Popular Spot Guide In Pocket Academy creating a spot (a collection of buildings that when put together provide a spirit bonus) is essential to your success within the game. Each spot created will provide a significant spirit bonus to your buildings making the chances of students going out increase as well as increasing the attractiveness of different buildings in your school.

You can have as many spots as you like in one game however some of the maps within the game will not allow you to have all the buildings so some spots can't be built in certain maps. The maximum number of spots I have been able to have in one game is 19, and spot bonuses can be improved by cleverly placing buildings so they can be a part of two spots at the same time, which not only significantly increases spirit but if done well will also safe you space.

Also if you find certain spots (some of the hidden ones) this will enable you to unlock special teachers and students who are above the level of other teachers and students. Place the indicated facilities near each other to unlock the corresponding Spot.

Early survive tips for Kairosoft Pocket Acedemy

1073 days ago

Your early years playing Kairosoft Pocket Academy (English) are extremely critical to determine your gameplay. During early years, your priorities are:

  • Numbers of students. This can be achived by spirits from popular spots and increasing the number of teachers (please bear in mind teacher stats in not your priority -- so hire 3-4 low paid teacher should attract transfer students).
  • Income from student fee. Do as much challenge as you can. I usually do challenges with 60% or more chance of passing. Combined with the high number of students, an increase in student fee will add up.
  • Year-end school rank bonuses. Use your hum, tech, PE points on special class.

You started out with $20,000 cash, avoid to spend all of them in one go. During early years, your teacher and facilities upkeep cost will be higher than income from students. You will need those cash to balance negative the cash flow during these years.

You should avoid being in debt as you will require cash to do school events. These events are important to increase your school popularity.

Do as much challenge as you can. I usually do challenges with 60% or more chance of passing.

Stick to 1 teacher for 2 classrooms thumb rule. Avoid spending money on expensive teacher. You should 3-4 low-paid low-stats (not more than 1.2k salary) teachers or more to attract transfer students. At this stage, stats aren't your priority.

Popular spots. Popular spots. Popular spots. Avoid builing too many fields, chicken, or rabbit rooms; 2 - 3 for early years should be enough.

In year 3, you should be able to to reach 20 or so students with 3 - 4 low paid teacher easily.
